For Fox News Channel's November 2000 Elections coverage, Video Design Software implemented both traditional Chyron graphics and Frost control for timing and synchronizing complex animations.

VDS provided four distinct graphic applications. The first was an application for the generation of real-time 3D graphics on a Frost system for general election returns. VDS also provided a lower-third Ticker, which announced the top state elections in the U.S. In addition, an electoral count Ticker was created to keep track of and display Electoral College results as they were reported in each state.

Finally, VDS provided software for the generation of exit poll data graphics. VDS also supplied data parsing software, which received the election results and automatically populated the graphics systems with this data.
