VIDEO DESIGN SOFTWARE DISPLAYS TWISTER AND LIBERTY REALITY STUDIO AT NAB
LAS VEGAS, Apr. 8, 2002—Video Design Software (VDS) is demonstrating the Twister, a paint and graphics creation plug-in application for Chyron’s Lyric running on Duet, and Liberty Reality Studio, a complete graphics creation system that integrates Liberty with the DPS Reality DDR at NAB 2002. Both will be on display in the VDS Advanced Technology Suite, room 605 in the Cassanova section of the Venetian Hotel with co-exhibitor Video Technics, with Chyron Corporation (Booth L12200) and Florical Systems, Inc. (Booth L19552).
Twister, is a 32-bit paint and graphics creation plug-in application for Chyron’s Lyric running on Duet. With Twister, the Lyric operator will now have access to Liberty’s famous content creation tools directly from the Lyric user environment. This includes, the full suite of comprehensive paint tools and brushes, unlimited layering capabilities, image processing and masking tools. Twister will also run Photoshop plug-ins, allowing access to hundreds of image processing libraries currently available. All in all, Twister brings unprecedented content creation capability to Lyric.
The Reality Studio is a complete graphics creation system that integrates Liberty’s famous paint, animation and compositing software with the DPS Reality DDR, collectively packaged in an attractive 4RU case with a professional Broadcast I/O panel. Incorporating DPS’s Reality DDR technology into the Liberty Studio product provides Liberty users with real-time, uncompressed, analogue or digital I/O with key channel. With Reality Studio, the Liberty operator now has the ability to capture video material, create and add graphics, composites or animations and then output directly to other record/playback devices, all on one system.
