| AirPlot is a suite of applications that provide television
broadcasters with the ability to generate live line graphs on a variety of graphics generator
systems from an external data source.

Primarily designed for the display of financial
information, the system can be used for the graphical representation of any data. Airplot
is modular and flexible and can be easily customized to suit the requirements of individual
broadcasters worldwide.

The basic AirPlot system displays live charts of intra-day and historical financial trade data from standard or custom data feeds. It is centered around financial data, but can support the display of any type of numerical data that can be plotted across time. It allows for single line charts, as well as comparison charts.

As shown in the screen shots above, the kinds of data fields to display and the on-air "look" are completely up to the customer.In fact, one installation may have a different look for each of several shows.
AirPlot is designed to integrate into fast-paced and often unpredictable live news production environments.
Before show time, an operator uses a Builder Station to create ordered stacks of charts to play out one at a time. Playout is triggered from within the Playout application, or remotely via GPI button box. Charts are built in real time as they are brought to air, guaranteeing that the most current data is shown.

In Live Build Mode, an operator or host may quickly create up-to-the-second charts and bring them to air
almost immediately without having to pre-build a stack.

Even when playing out a predefined stack, the operator (or host) may rearrange and make changes to the stack
at any time. It only takes a few seconds to call up a chart for any symbol.
AirPlot systems can be configured to be fully redundant, and always includes extensive system status monitors
and logging.
Often, AirPlot is combined with HotBugs and HotBoards to create sophisticated, visually compelling news graphics packages.
