| TagMonitor is an application that automates the use of Harris playlist 'tags' for flexible automation control. This provides a trivial path to create shows and spots driven entirely via the Harris playlist.

 |
Empower your Harris Automation System |
TagMonitor follows an active Harris playlist, looking for specific events called "tags." When the TagMonitor encounters a tag, it takes the appropriate action, such as playing a particular promo, or inserting data into a tab field.

Unlimited Possibilities |
A simple example: The system may be set up to monitor for music videos whose associated metadata contains the word "Halloween" prompting the system to display viewer-submitted drawings over those videos. Since the TagMonitor is a generalized system, it can be set up to produce an infinite variety of behaviors.
TagMonitor can be integrated with other modular VDS products to create a totally unique viewing experience.
Noggin (Case Study) uses TagMonitor for automated interstitials. In this case, TagMonitor looks for Harris playlist tags that instruct the system to display specific graphics over random spots. The tags can include data elements, adding a level of intelligence to the behavior of the system.

Simple Operation |
The TagMonitor application features a generalized interface for easy entry of automation tags. The operator creates each event, specifies its identifying tags, and sets up the appropriate commands for playing out the event on the graphics device.
