| Text To Air is an extremely flexible generalized application for routing data from an external source such as an Internet chat room, to air. At its core is an industrial-strength database for storing incoming data, and an open model for generating graphics to presenting the data on air.

The Text to Air application is flexible enough to accommodate many types of incoming data, and bring it to air in the most effective manner.
For example, to create a show centered around viewer comments such as CMT Canada's "SheetMusic", the Text To Air engine is gathers comments from the data source (possibly, though not necessarily, through a separate Authoring tool such as Chat To Air), collates them, and plays them out to air on an automated basis, based upon which video is currently playing in the show block. Text To Air initializes at the beginning of the block, and stops at the end of the block, thereby creating a fully-automated show.

A key feature of Text To Air is that the plug-in itself is completely independent from the datasource it uses and the on-air "look" of the shows it runs. The Text To Air plug-in is flexible enough to manage multiple shows, each with its own behavior and appearance.
