This unique package is based
on VDS' Synapse platform, a proprietary plug-in product designed to support After Effects plug-ins within the
Quantel user interface. VDS now offers a full line of distinctive plug-in packages for generationQ, each offering an array
of dramatic effects.

ToonIt! on Quantel's iQ
ToonIt! plugins free you from time consuming techniques like rotoscoping and hand painting. ToonIt! analyses an image, then reduces its color palette and detects where the important edges are. The edges are used to shape and control areas of color.
ToonIt!'s edges can be rendered to produce a pen & ink look. Use ‘edges only’ options to create a realistic line drawing. Combine different styles and outlines to create even more variation. Voila: you've been toon'ed. There are four filters in the ToonIt! set.

The ToonIt! suite has four great filters which provide a broad range of cartoon like effects.
Roto Toon
The whole cartoon shebang! Creates the flat shades of color and gives you full control over the outlines, detail, shading styles, and halftone effects.
Outlines Only
Uses the built-in edge detection to produce cartoon-style edges, removing the color altogether from the footage. Control over soft edges, comic-book style edges, ink-and-paint shadowing, and stippling.
Goth Toon
Uses the internal color rotoscoping to create a high contrast effect for your footage. Smoothly reduces all the colors down to a low tone, a customizable mid tone, and a high tone.
Blacklight Edges
Uses the edge detection to create a fun customizable set of neon-colored edges in your footage.
